'Road to Saturn' was filmed on the lands of the Taungurung people and I wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners. I would also like to pay my respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities.
Set in the King Valley, Taungurung country, Victoria, Liv and Renee, two lone survivors of a mysterious contagious dementia that has swept the globe hide in a remote cabin and listen for updates on their long silent radio.
Joined by Kate, whom is sick with the illness but seemingly improving, their understanding of the sickness and very safety is shaken when Renee returns from a supply run with a disturbing revelation.
With little time to prepare for a coming threat, Liv and Renee must decide whether to leave their sick friend behind, or to bring her and risk their own survival.
"Road to Saturn is a film very close to my heart. It's quiet, post-apocalyptic setting in traditionally owned Taungurung country being the perfect setting to tell a simple, quiet story about morality and fear. Inspired by films like 'The Road' and 'It Comes at Night', Road to Saturn is a love letter to Australian genre storytelling and Victorian filmmaking."

"Nothing exciting me more as a producer as when Callum Thomas puts his next screenplay on my desk. Road to Saturn was one such experience where the combined excitement between he, the team, and I were so great that we had no choice but to begin pre-production.
The strong themes evident throughout the piece tied the story together and delve into a moral circumstance that we would only ever see through the magic of storytelling that speak to the everyday parts of human nature we all experience."
